Rembrandt, van Rijn

rembrandt-danae-130x98 Rembrandt, van RijnRembrandt, Harmenszoon van Rijn (15 iulie 1606 - 4 octombrie 1669) a fost un pictor olandez, din secolul al XVII-lea, considerat unul dintre cei mai celebri pictori din istoria artei.

Opera lui Rembrandt este o sursa importanta in furnizarea de informatii despre viata si caracterul omului. Relatia dintre arta si viata nu se percepe usor in cazul lui Rembrandt. Nu se poate trage o linie de demarcatie in opera sa intre realism si imaginar; ambele aspecte contribuie la cunoasterea artistului.
